Frank Hobbs has partnered with our neighbourhood grocery store, Peppers, to provide a variety of delicious healthy foods for our children. Peppers is a long-time committed supporter of our school and we are looking forward to building on this relationship.
The reasons we’ve made this change to a new menu include: to provide fresh, healthy meals for our students, eliminate packaging and waste on special lunch days, and to reduce pressure on volunteers.
When you log on to place your orders, you’ll see a huge variety of meals, prepared by Peppers especially for us using fresh, local ingredients.
Because this is a brand new program with a learning curve for all of us, we’ve kept it very simple. We’ve reduced the number of options to the bare essentials. However, students with dietary needs that restrict them from eating off our regular menu will not be left out or offered something that they shouldn’t eat.

Volunteers are no longer needed to cook, now we just need one parent partner to help in each classroom on special lunch days from 11:40am-12:20pm or so. This will be a fun and relaxing opportunity to spend special time with your child and their classmates.
This year’s dates are Oct 12, Nov 9, Dec 7, Jan 11, Feb 1, Mar 1, April 5, May 3, and June 7. Please contact email@example.com to sign up to be your classroom’s lunchtime helper.
Lastly, Peppers and PAC are working hard to keep our special lunch days packaging- and waste-free. Students should bring their water bottle, a reusable plate or empty container and cutlery when needed on special lunch days.
***Payments must be done at least one week before a lunch day to allow the final delivery order to be placed with the supplier, and ensure your child’s lunch order gets to their classroom at the correct time!***
After you have had your child’s teacher and classroom confirmed, you can log in to our online system at frankhobbs.hotlunches.net to place your online order for PAC snacks and lunches.
If you have not set up details for your child, you will need to log in and create an account by using the access code FHHL.
If you are adding in an order for this year, please place your order online using the frankhobbs.hotlunches.net site, then take a cheque or cash in for payment to the white parents mailbox at school…..or you can also pay with PayPal online.
You can post your payment in our new “parents postbox” – a white mailbox on the wall just outside the main school office (inside the school to the left of the staff photograph). Please don’t forget to write your child’s name and classroom detail on any envelopes so we can mark off your payment, if you’re paying with cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to “Frank Hobbs PAC”.
Payments must be done two weeks before a lunch day to allow the final delivery order to be placed with the supplier, and ensure your child’s lunch order gets to their classroom at the correct time!
Alterations to orders can be made online up to 7 days before any lunch or snack date and if you cancel an order, you are able to keep a credit on your online lunch account up until the end of the school year.

If you have a credit on your online account after this school year, and you require a refund, please e-mail us at email@example.com and let us know your postal address so that we can arrange a cheque to be posted out to you in September. Refunds will not be issued automatically as we will need confirmation of your address for mailing purposes.
